Our country regards IPv6 as the strategic development direction of the future Internet. It is accelerating the deployment of the next generation Internet based on the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), accelerating the upgrade of websites and Internet application ecosystems to IPv6, and striving to complete the IPv6 transformation of 13 Internet backbone direct connections as soon as possible. In recent years, relevant national departments have promoted the accelerated deployment of IPv6 upgrades regardless of the issuance of IPv6-related policy documents. In July 2021, the Cyberspace Administration, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Accelerating the Scale Deployment and Application of Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6)", clarifying the tasks and goals of IPv6 scale deployment during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. By the end of 2025, the completion rate of government websites above the county level has reached more than 95%.

The number of IPv6 active users in my country has reached 528 million, accounting for 53.39% of the total number of Internet users.
