If the customer prompts a socket error when uploading, please check whether one of the firewalls in the connection under the edit menu of the software uses pasv mode. If you select it, you can cancel this option to connect to the host.

2. Authentication has been passed during FTP, but the directory cannot be listed?

Reason for the problem: The FTP client program for the upload software you use should not select PASV mode and firewall setting

Handling method: It is recommended to use Cuteftp4.2 software and remove the "PASV mode" option from Edit-Setting... -Connection-Firewall.

3. Why couldn't I upload and couldn't find the host when I was prompted to connect?

First of all, please check whether your domain name has been resolved. The test method: You can enter ping the domain name at the DOS prompt. If ping can be used, you can fill in your domain name in the "FTP Host Address" in the FTP software. If ping does not work, you need to fill in the IP address of your host in the "FTP Host Address".

Note: We recommend that you use your IP address to upload pages. At the same time, dial-up Internet access in some areas has restrictions on ftp. So please change your Internet access method and then test it.

4. Why can't I upload it? The password is incorrect?

Please check whether your login name and password are filled in correctly, because if the password is copied, spaces may be copied. In addition, the initial passwords we give you are all arranged in an English number with 8 digits. Perhaps the letter l is thought to be the number 1. Finally, you need to check whether the login type you selected when logging in at ftp is normal.

5. My website can pass the FTP password verification, but it cannot be listed in the directory list at the end. It displays: LLIST425. What is the reason?

It is caused by the fact that your virtual host space has run out. Please log in using FTP and delete some unnecessary files.

6. What happens if the uploaded file exceeds my disk limit?

You will be prompted that you cannot upload anything more (the number of bytes after the file is uploaded is zero).

7. After uploading the webpage, the access result is "Forbidden". What is the reason?

Reason for the problem: This result is that an index file is missing in your corresponding directory. Its name must be one of index.asp, index.html, index.htm or index.shtml. If the index file is missing, the server will issue this prompt to prevent others from seeing those files in your directory.

Processing method: Please change the file name to index.html.

8. How do I know the total capacity of files I upload to the host?

You can check the space usage through FTP information management in the virtual host control panel.

9. A SOCKET error is prompted during FTP login.

If the system prompts a socket error when uploading a file, please check whether you have selected Use Firewall Settings and Use PASV Mode Settings in the connection in the editing menu of the software. If you selected them before, cancel these two options and then reconnect. If you have installed anti-virus software such as Norton on your computer, please turn it off temporarily.
