honmau Media teaches you how to make your first website registration

According to national regulations, all websites opened in China need to go through the filing procedures before they can be opened and used. In July 2010, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology upgraded the filing system completely, and the filing process has also changed. Therefore, for a friend who is founding a website for the first time, he may be unfamiliar with the filing process and may even feel that he has no way to start it. In fact, filing is not as difficult as imagined. Below we will briefly introduce the filing process of a new website for your reference.

Step 1: Select a space provider (also called an access provider)

This step is very important. According to the new filing process, the organizer must go through a space provider to register, so he must choose a space provider with Internet access service business qualifications.

Step 2: Register the domain name and resolve it

Register the domain name with the domain name provider, and then resolve the domain name to the space designated IP provided by the access provider. If resolution cannot be resolved under special circumstances, you can negotiate with the access provider and space provider in advance.

Step 3: Verify the filing status of the new domain name

Under normal circumstances, the vast majority of newly registered domain names are not filed, but there are also rare cases where the domain name has been filed, and the original registrant finally gave up the domain name and was registered by you. If you file it directly, it will cause domain name conflicts. To verify whether the domain name has been filed, you can check this address through www.example.com and enter the newly registered domain name in the domain name of the website.

If the domain name is registered by another person, you need to find the Communications Administration Bureau to which the filing number belongs (for example, Zhejiang is the beginning of Zhejiang), and then submit an application for website cancellation to the bureau as the domain name owner. See the required materials for details: Download the application form for cancellation entities/password recovery in some provinces. (Contact online customer service for request)

Step 4: Submit filing materials to the access provider

Each access provider has its own enterprise-side filing system. Usually, webmasters need to register a member in the system and submit filing information in the system after success (such as organizer name, ID number, domain name, mailing address, contact information, etc.). Be sure to ensure that the filing information is true and reliable. As long as the information is 100% true, there will usually be no major problem through filing.

Step 5: Conduct authenticity verification

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, access providers must verify the authenticity of the website organizer before filing it. The so-called authenticity verification refers to the process of requiring access providers to take photos of the organizer and retain relevant certificates. In order to facilitate users, access providers often open branches or verification points in different provinces and cities across the country to facilitate verification by users in different provinces. You can consult your access provider for specific verification methods and locations. After successful verification, You need to sign two authenticity verification forms, one will be retained by the access provider and the other will be submitted by the access provider to the relevant communications authority.

Step 6: The access provider reports the data to the management bureau

After receiving your filing materials and verifying the authenticity, the access provider will submit your filing materials and the authenticity verification form to the local Communications Administration Bureau. After receiving the relevant materials, the Communications Administration Bureau will review your filing within 20 working days.

Step 7: Successful filing

If the information provided is correct, most websites can be successfully registered. After the registration is successful, the organizer will receive a short message notification of successful registration and a registration password. This password is only known to you. This password is mainly used to cancel the registration, or To migrate access providers (for example, if you change space from access provider A to access provider B, you need to use this password), so it needs to be kept properly. In addition, two points need to be noted: First, after successful filing, if the relevant filing information changes, the filing information needs to be revised in the access provider's system in a timely manner to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the filing information. The Administration Bureau will conduct the filing information from time to time. Conduct authenticity verification, and once the filing information is found to be false or incorrect, the filing website will be cancelled; Second: There is no charge for filing. Do not file on the website through informal fee filing (fast filing), otherwise the filing will not be guaranteed and may be cancelled at any time after being verified.

The above is the general process of a new filing. An ID card can only have one filing. If you have multiple filings or websites, you can add multiple websites under this filing entity. Filing is not as complicated as imagined. As long as the process is correct, the information is true, and the content is legal, it is still easy to open a website in China.
